OUR STORY
The Extractory was much more than an idea prior to its founding in 2020, it has been living and breathing closed loop hydrocarbon extraction since 2008. The company was originated by its’ CEO Peter Conway in the early stages of the extraction industry. Since then he has gathered knowledge, refined processes, and innovative hydrocarbon extraction machines. His innate understanding of extraction, and the science behind it is what made this company what it is today as well as propelling the company into the future. Since being founded we have built a team of dedicated, invested, and competent individuals from inspired engineers to dedicated customer service professionals. The Extractory has created strategic partnerships with various groups. With these partnerships The Extractory has acquired generational knowledge of FDA compliant food packaging and handling on the industrial scale, bulk CO2 distribution, dry ice distribution, and chemical processing knowledge. This marriage of industry uniquely positions us to tackle any problem from germination of your first seed, through processing, to bottling or packaging your goods for sale at retail. PETER CONWAY
Chief Executive Officer
Peter is a veteran of the botanical extraction industry with experience spanning the entire life of the industry. Peter brings innovation, and expertise to the industry through mechanical, and process design. His years of research and development experience have given him unique insights into the development of cutting edge hydrocarbon extraction machines.
BRYAN HODGINS
Chief Technical Officer
Bryan has 12 years of experience in the indoor horticulture industry, a decade of system integration, and a decade of business management experience. Throughout his career he has worked extensively with software programming, business system implementation, industrial automation, mechanical, and electrical design.
KENNETH GIBSON
Chief Marketing Officer
Kenneth has been innovative in marketing and development for over a decade. He has a deep understanding of the indoor horticultural cultivation & processing industry from the ground up and has used his experience to help develop several successful businesses. He has a global perspective with strong roots in Michigan.
SEAN MCPHERSON
Engineer
Sean holds a bachelors of science in engineering with a focus in product design. He is highly knowledgeable in CAD and has extensive knowledge in tool design. He has almost two decades of experience with hands on mechanical engineering and is highly proficient in inventory management.
